Dining at The Red Lion, Fernhurst

Freshly prepared homemade food is the order of the day at The Red Lion, where both the peckish and the ravenous are catered for in equal measure.

There’s a tasty selection of bar snacks and sandwiches, jacket potatoes plus a delicious ploughman’s with freshly baked bread. 

Heartier appetite? Feast on traditional pub classics  like beer-battered fish & chips, homemade pies and burgers, and freshly made salads like Prawn & Smoked Salmon.

The Red Lion specials board brings a further range of seasonal flavours to the table - from fresh mussels, sizzling beef or lamb shank to fresh sea bass, calves liver and bacon.

Tuesday night is the treat of the week with steak night to include sirloin steak with trimmings and small glass of wine all for £15.95. Why not treat yourself to a mini starter and dessert for £4.95 each.

On Sundays, 1, 2 or 3 course menu with  classic roast beef and yorkshire pudding along with 2 other roasts, with good selection of other dishes for those wanting something other than a roast. 

We cater for the vegan and vegetarian too, with ever-changing dishes like a vegan sizzling vegetable or moving mountain plant based burger to dish goat’s cheese and mushroom wellington, halloumi and pepper burgers to name but a few.

Children a welcome at The Red Lion with a 1,2,3 menu where they can choose from a selection of children’s mains and 2 side and included in the price is an ice-cream desserts with treats. A soft drink is also included in the price. On Sundays 1/2 portions of roast are also available.
